Our story began with a simple belief: every pet deserves to be loved, protected, and cared for with intention. That belief guides everything we do, from the products we choose to the details we care about.

Inspired by a Cat Named Rao Rao

The heart of Globalnovyrao is inspired by Rao Rao, a ginger cat who changed everything.

In the winter of 2015, our founder, Ran Liu, left the fast pace of city life and traveled to Dali, a quiet town in Yunnan, to slow down and rediscover what truly mattered. There, in a small courtyard guesthouse, he met a skinny ginger cat who appeared every evening on the stone steps.

She did not ask for much. She simply stayed nearby.

Day by day, trust grew. Food became companionship. Distance became closeness. One cold night, she jumped onto his lap and stayed there. Ran named her Rao Rao, a name connected with abundance, warmth, and a life finally filled with care.

When it was time to leave Dali, Ran did not leave alone. Rao Rao went home with him.

From One Real Need to a Bigger Mission

Back in the city, Ran wanted to give Rao Rao the best life possible. But he quickly realized how difficult that could be.

Finding a cleaning product that felt right for a pet-friendly home took hours of checking ingredients. Choosing a pet bed that was both comfortable and beautiful was harder than expected. Taking Rao Rao to the vet in a cold, hard carrier made her tremble the entire way.

He soon discovered that many pet parents shared the same frustration. There were countless pet products on the market, but not enough of them felt truly designed for the real lives of pets and the people who love them.

That was when one idea took root:
